Grow your pipeline: join links, Will Bank & Products

Share self-serve join links, bulk-import prospects with Will Bank, and use the product wiki before you quote.

Tools for bringing new prospects in and knowing your products cold: shareable join links, bulk CSV import (Will Bank), and the product wiki.

A join link lets a prospect complete the triage questionnaire and be assigned to you automatically. Great for email signatures, campaigns and QR codes at events.

Where: Join links in the sidebar (/join-links). Heading: "Join Links".

🔒 Everyone can copy a link and grab its QR code. Creating, renaming, deactivating and reactivating links is Manager/Admin only.

  1. Click "Create Join Link" (top-right).
  2. In "New Join Link", optionally set a "Label", "Expiry date", and "Max uses" (all optional).
  3. Under "Who can see this link", choose "Share with advisors" (everyone at the company) or "Keep to admins".
  4. Click "Create".

On any row:

  • "Copy Link" - copies the URL (flips to "Copied!" for a moment).
  • "QR code" - opens the QR dialog; click "Download QR" to save a PNG for print/slides.

The "Show" filter switches between Active / Inactive / All. Row status pills read "Active", "Inactive", "Expired" or "Limit reached".

  • "Rename" - change or clear the label.
  • "Deactivate" - stops the link immediately (confirm "Deactivate this join link?"). Existing QR codes/URLs stop working.
  • "Activate" / "Reactivate" - bring it back; when reactivating you can extend the expiry or bump the use cap.

Will Bank - bulk-import prospects from CSV (🔒 Manager/Admin)

Will Bank imports a contact list, then lets you send invites in controlled batches.

Where: Will Bank in the sidebar (/will-bank). Heading: "Will Bank". Plain advisers can't access it.

The overview shows roll-up tiles (Batches / Contacts imported / Invites sent / Pending) and a card per uploaded batch (with a send-progress bar and an "Open" button).

Import a CSV

  1. Click "Import CSV" → the import wizard (/will-bank/import). It has 7 steps down the left: Upload → Names → Email & phone → Date of birth → Address → Other details → Review.
  2. Upload - drop your CSV (max 5 MB, UTF-8) and click "Continue" (it reads "Analysing…" while it auto-detects columns).
  3. Names - choose "Separate columns" or "Single 'full name' column", then map First / Middle / Last (or the full-name column + delimiter + order). A live preview confirms the mapping. Click "Next".
  4. Email & phone - map at least one of "Email" or "Phone number" (required to continue). Click "Next".
  5. Date of birth (optional) - map the column and pick a "Date format", or "Skip".
  6. Address (optional) - separate columns or a single full-address column.
  7. Other details (optional) - Nationality, Occupation.
  8. Review - check the "Mapping summary" (each section has an "Edit"), review any Broken rows, then click "Import {N} contact(s)". You'll see "Imported N contacts" and land on the batch.

On any step, unrecognised columns default to "(skip - leave empty)", and an auto-map banner tells you how many fields it matched.

Send invites from a batch

  1. Open a batch (/will-bank/{id}).
  2. Send options: a per-row "Send", tick rows and use "Send {n}", or set "Send next N pending" and click "Send next {N}".
  3. The "Send invite" panel opens. Pick a "Template" (a live Email preview and SMS preview show the result), then click "Send {N} invite(s)". Your template choice sticks across sends.
  4. Results show as a toast (e.g. "Sent N invites", or "Sent X, Y failed").

Use the status tabs (All / Pending / Sent / Failed) to track progress.

Products - the product wiki

Know what each product does before you quote it.

Where: Products in the sidebar (/products). Heading: "Products" - "Learn how each product works…" Visible to every adviser.

  • Products are grouped into Will bases, Trusts, Additions, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Click a product name to open its datasheet page, which shows "About this product", "Documents included", a link to "Open datasheet" (a client-facing PDF), and a "Learn on InLeef Academy" article link.
  • Use the catalogue switcher to view a different catalogue.

This is a read-only wiki - it shows no prices. Pricing and RRP live in Product management (🔒 Admin only, under Company config), where admins edit base prices, price options, whether a product is Active, and VAT exempt.

That's the tour. Head back to the index any time.
