Managing clients ("Users")

Add, invite, view and reassign the clients you look after, and navigate the client detail page.

Your clients live under Users. This guide covers the client list, inviting a client, adding one manually, and the client detail page.

Where: click Users in the sidebar, or go to /users. Heading: "Users" - "People you have access to through your client companies."

Browse and find clients

Columns: Name, Email, Phone, Join method (Join link / Invite / Adviser added / Direct), Adviser, Status.

  • Status pills: "Registered" (green), "Invited" (blue), "Expired" (grey), "Revoked" (red).
  • Search by name or email in the "Name or email…" box.
  • 🔒 Managers/Admins get an "Assigned to" adviser filter and a "Mine" / "My team" / "Everyone" visibility toggle.

Open a client: click any "Registered" row (or its "View profile" button). Invited/Expired/Revoked rows aren't clickable - use their row menu instead.

Row actions by status

  • Invited menu with "Resend" and "Revoke" (confirm in "Revoke this invite?").
  • Expired / Revoked menu with "Reactivate".

Invite a client

  1. Click "Invite client" (top-right). A slide-over titled "Invite a client" opens.
  2. Fill in at least one of "Email" or "Phone" (both accepted). Optionally add "First name" / "Last name".
  3. Choose a "Message template" from the dropdown (use "Manage" to create one under Message templates). A live Email preview and SMS preview show what they'll receive.
  4. Click "Send invite". You'll see "Invite sent." and they get a secure link to register and start their will, with automatic reminders.

If you enter neither email nor phone you'll see "Enter an email address or phone number."

Add a client manually (no email sent)

Use this to add someone to your rolodex without inviting them yet - for example straight before starting an order.

  1. Go to /users/new (you'll also land here via "Create new user" in the create-order flow). Card title: "Create a new user".
  2. Fill in "First name", "Last name", "Email address" (all required) and optionally "Mobile number".
  3. Click "Create user" (or "Create user & start order" if you came from the order flow).
  4. You're taken to the new client's detail page (or straight into the order builder).

The client detail page

Opening a registered client shows a "CLIENT" badge, their name and email, plus:

  • "Copy email" / "Copy phone" - copies their contact details.

  • "Previous leads" - their triage submissions (New / Urgent / Converted / Archived). Click to open the lead.
  • "Internal notes" - a private notes thread for your firm.
  • "Profile" - their contact details (display-only on this page).
