Join Links

Shareable sign-up links with QR codes that route prospects through triage and automatically assign them to the adviser or firm.

Workflow group: Lead generation · Sidebar: Join Links Who sees this: Every adviser can view and copy links; creating/renaming/deactivating/reactivating is Manager & Admin only.

Join links are shareable sign-up URLs (with QR codes) that a prospect opens to complete the triage questionnaire and be automatically assigned to the adviser/firm - a lightweight way to bring in new prospects. Completed questionnaires become leads.

  • Intent: Create and manage shareable sign-up links (with QR codes) that clients open to complete the triage questionnaire and be automatically assigned to the adviser/firm - a lightweight way to bring in new prospects.
  • Who can access it: Every adviser can view the list and use the read-only actions (copy link, view/download QR). Creating, renaming, deactivating, and reactivating links is restricted to Managers and Admins - those controls are hidden for plain Advisers.
  • What you can do:
    • Filter the list by Active / Inactive / All.
    • Copy Link to the clipboard (button briefly shows "Copied!").
    • Open the QR code dialog to preview the code and link, then Download QR as a PNG (filename derived from the link label).
    • (Managers/Admins) Create Join Link via a dialog with optional label, expiry date, and max-uses cap, plus a visibility choice - Share with advisors (everyone at the company sees it) or Keep to admins (only admins/managers see it).
    • (Managers/Admins) Rename a link's label (or clear it), Deactivate an active link (stops it working immediately; already-circulated QR codes/URLs stop letting people join), and Activate an inactive link - the reactivate dialog optionally extends the expiry and bumps the use cap.
    • Page through results when there is more than one page.
  • What you see: A page header with description; a Show status filter; a table with columns Label (with an "Admins only" badge on admin-visible links), Uses (current, or "used / cap"), Expires, Created, Status, and per-row Actions. Status badges read Active, Inactive, Expired, or Limit reached. Dialogs cover create, QR, rename, deactivate confirmation, and reactivate.
  • States:
    • Loading: "Loading…" spinner.
    • Empty: "No join links yet" (with a Create button for Managers/Admins), or "No inactive join links" when the Inactive filter matches nothing.
    • Disabled/busy: create/deactivate/reactivate buttons disable while a request is in flight; the Create button is disabled until the adviser's company context is available.
    • Error: a toast surfaces any failed create/rename/revoke/reactivate.
  • Related pages / flow: Reached from the main nav (all advisers). The link itself points at the client-facing user app's triage questionnaire (/triage?join=<token>); clients who complete it become new prospects assigned to the adviser and appear under Leads (/leads) and the Clients area. Note: individual (one-off) invites are managed separately from the Clients tab, not here - this page lists only shareable links.
